About Us
Marta
Built in the weight room. Rebuilt through injury. Learned the hard way that strength isn’t about looking strong — it’s about functioning, adapting, coming back. Disciplined. Grounded. Relentless when it matters.

Astrid
Driven by movement. Addicted to the edge. Always chasing what’s next — stronger, faster, further. Strategic mind from the digital world. Athlete by heart. Thrives where it gets uncomfortable.

There is a moment in sport when everything changes. A moment when training stops being about how your body looks and starts becoming about what your body can actually do. We both remember the first times we felt it — realizing we could run further than we thought, push harder than we expected, recover, adapt and come back stronger.
Those moments slowly changed the way we saw ourselves.
For us, that is where Baddazz began.
We are Marta and Astrid, and our story started years ago in Marbella. What began as a friendship gradually grew into something deeper through a shared love for movement, sport and challenge. We spent years training in different ways, following our own paths, but always connected by the same curiosity about what our bodies were capable of.
Where It Started
At the beginning our training worlds looked very different.
Marta had been immersed in sport since 2012, spending years focused mainly on strength training. Training had always been a passion, but in 2020 a serious injury changed everything. What had once been about aesthetics became something much more personal — learning how to rebuild a body that functions, adapts and feels strong from the inside out.
Astrid’s path had always been rooted in movement and functional training. She was naturally drawn to challenge, performance and the feeling of pushing physical limits. Alongside sport, she has been working in the digital world since 2007, building and developing several online projects over the years. Through her work she built her own brand and shared her experience at conferences across Europe — experience that now supports what we are creating together with Baddazz.
Even though our paths started differently, over time we realized we were both looking for the same thing.
The next layer.
When Strength Met Endurance
For both of us, that layer appeared when endurance entered the picture. We started running more, riding longer distances and exploring aerobic training in ways we hadn’t before. Little by little, the way we trained began to change.
And eventually we discovered hybrid racing.
The moment we experienced it, something clicked. A world where strength and endurance meet, where the body is pushed in multiple ways at the same time, and where performance feels honest and raw. It felt challenging, but also deeply rewarding.
We immediately felt at home in that environment.
Training this way asked something different from us. It asked patience, resilience and the ability to stay calm when our lungs burned and our legs started to feel heavy. But it also gave something powerful back: confidence.
What Changed for Us
Over time we started training more and more together. Eventually we began racing together — half marathons, hybrid competitions and team races. Standing on a start line knowing that we had prepared our bodies for the challenge ahead was a feeling that stayed with us.
It changed the way we saw our limits and what we believed was possible.
When we first stepped into these competitions, many of the spaces were still largely dominated by men. But instead of feeling out of place, it made us even more curious about what we were capable of. And slowly we started to see more and more women stepping into the same arenas — not to prove something to others, but to explore their own strength.
That experience shaped the way we see sport today.
Why Baddazz Exists
The more time we spent training, competing and learning, the more we realized how quickly the hybrid world is growing. New races appear every year. More athletes are stepping into this space. The energy around it keeps expanding.
But at the same time, we also felt how easy it is to get lost in noise, trends and information without direction.
That realization is part of why Baddazz exists.
Through this platform we share our journey, our experiences and the lessons we learn along the way. We share what we test, what works for us and what we continue discovering through training and competition.
Because for us, hybrid performance has never been just about competing.
It has always been about discovering what we are capable of.
And once you experience that feeling, something shifts.
You start to see yourself differently.
Stronger.
Clearer.
More capable than you ever thought.
Be Baddazz.
